oh my gawd

so i'm watching the US men's team compete in the olympics, and the team was in a huddle after the pommelhorse. and they were having an inspirational talk about keeping it together, and togetherness and team pride or something, and half way thru they cut to a shot of David Durante, the only alternate who wasn't chosen due to a Hamm injury. He was crying his eyes out. I feel so bad for him. The announcer say he was happy for his team, a team he didn't make. I'm so sorry David, if you were good on the pommel horse, I wish you were on it.
